KBěTYS is the "Ham" amateur radio callsign allocated to Paul of Maple Grove, Minnesota USA.  Paul participates with UHF/VHF radio equipment in community service work as a radio and net control operator for marathons, parades, and disaster drills. He is a member of  the American Legion, The Salvation Army SATERN program, ARES, AERO, the American Radio Relay League (ARRL) and the National Weather Service Skywarn program as a weather "spotter" and net control operator. He is also a member of the ECRT (Emergency Communication Response Team) which responds for disaster coordination and support of governmental agencies. His usage of equipment includes both analog and digital technologies (Voice and Data).
